	(also superb follow-up to his staggering "road to cairo/same" -release some year earlier; branches ripe w/graceful loner-vibes riding crests of inside-ponder waves; a solemn pressure wraps up the yearnin' soul...; all self-penned songs and "woman river" enrolls 'em maps to show what Mr. Ackles is all about! ace line-up feat. Victor Feldman, Doug Hastings (he plaid that intense solo on "road to Cairo"!) Larry Knechtel, Lonnie Mack, Gordon Marron (he played violin w/Joe Byrd/United States of America) and also did Craig Woodson; comes w/lyrics insert-sheet; I'd personally trade away any Randy Newman albums for a subway to the country.. no kiddin!)

If there's such a thing as cultural justice, it may lie on these meldings which represent the Melting Pot from the inside out, not vice-versa!" ...all-acoustic ethno-meanderings w/violin (it's more a most expressive/ haunting gypsy-fiddle in spots!)...guitars, recorder, dulcimer, voice, guero, finger cymbals, bass, doumbec, tar, mazhar, english horn, oboe, congas, cymbals, chimes, cello, vibra slap...; "tar marmalade" (10:03) feeds soul w/percussive trance! Doug Adams was the co-founder of another early 70's cosmik/ organik hippie-gathering: KINDRED SOULS ...and that spirit lives on!)

	(solo-effort by KINDRED SOULS-leader and these lines are kept in similar boundaries; sky-farmin' cosmic/ organic vibes, authentic epistles from a late 70's tejas Hippie-retreat w/ 'em joyful southern hazienda vibes dazin' fro'; mostly acoustic menageries w/violins, chamber-brass arrangements, mandolin, steel-guitar,  percussion... tasty electric-wah guitar on "golden horses", "moon, o moon, o"; ...incl. a remake of "la Vienta" that haunting piece off the Kindred Souls lp addin' a bassoon tone that seem to draw smoke-rings out of the timber-wolf's hide!! great album that reveals a special charm 'n dimension; this is the slightly later 2nd print;)

	(another fine album on this privat label out of Wisconsin; rustic, melodic Folk-(Rock), all-acoustic w/guitar, mandolin (by Clay Riness, owner of the label who also plays guitar here) violin, bass... no percussion required as this bag seems to swing on its own! cover of John Hartford's "no end of love"; lyrics-insert sheet; natural production... that could make you think this is from the early 70's;...clean vinyl played maybe twice; Cover is NICE with light spot of discoloration in top-right corner (removed price-tag) with lyrics insert sheet; clean labels;)

	(loner-skid-row-flaked Song-poet w/stained petals longin' for rain 'n strain of insight fade-glow tryin' to ease the pain; a  song-bag that reeks w/back-porch tejas-moonshiner moods!... full-band backing w/wailing Steel-pedal, fiddle, accordion 'n brass, laid-back tex-mexy sways incl. the original version of "New Dehli freight train" (7:40) which got famous by Little Feat (well, Lowell George actually did many a Terry Allen song!) one and a half trax on here play VG+ due to an audible mark on the vinyl; comes in khool card-board FOC w/lyrics printed nicely on inner-fold;)
