Renee is graced w/a most captivating, colorfully ozcillating voice that tickles a special heartstring, soulfully jazzed edge w/seductive bend; Daryl's throat  reflects some melodic whisper on canvas of restrained, introspective shriek; without exaggeration... there's lines here that rekindle the magic of Tina & David Meltzer! their songwriting sparkles w/a most poetic, eccentric cut; fine acoustic/electric blend w/haunting pedal-steel on the beautiful "Love keeps comin", dulcimer and some wild fuzz-cranks on the shaky "sick judgement", "dry falls" (written by Terri Cochran) sure is another stand out song w/ harmonies that may cause some spine-shiver ...same with a haunting song penned by Renee, "river" on which her voice unfolds into full bloom and the melodic fuzz-lead-guitar borders next to swoon; their probably best album in my ears!)
